Estrella Febus ~ President
Estrella was born and raised in the Republic of Panama. Upon moving to the United States in her late teens, Estrella remained connected to her culture through local social groups. She has been a member of ACHA for the past decade and enjoys promoting the Hispanic culture through teaching folkloric dances. Estrella has over 30 years of volunteer service she takes pride in giving her time wherever she goes, especially in her community and for the Hispanic people.

Elizabeth Messulam ~ Vice President
Elizabeth, better known as Lizy is native to Miami, Florida descendant of Cuban parents and is
currently serving as Vice President. She has been a member of ACHA for the past 12 years
after volunteering with the organization, enjoys helping ACHA bring the Hispanic Culture to
Augusta and allowing non Hispanics in the area to enjoy all of its richness.

Erin Prentiss ~ Secretary
Erin is native from Augusta, a librarian who loves the Spanish Language and what it culture
brings. She became interested in ACHA while working on a film and event series about Latinos
in Augusta. She hopes to keep the community informed and its members about all the exciting
things ACHA will be doing.

Yelitza Maure ~ Treasurer
Yelitza is a native of Puerto Rico and is currently serving as the Treasurer of the organization.
She has been a member of ACHA for the past 6 years and enjoys giving back to the Augusta
community by fostering the spirit of service to people in need in the area.

Francis Medina ~ Director of Education
Francis Medina is an Augusta native and graduate from Augusta University. She first began her involvement in the Hispanic community by participating in the ACHA Señorita Latina 2013, in which she won second place. She has continued to help by volunteering in the association’s events and is the youngest director that our organization has ever had.

Cynthia Robinson ~ Director of Events
Cynthia Robinson is a native of Mexicali, Mexico. Mrs. Robinson is a proud wife of a retired Veteran, mother of 5 children, and a returning member of ACHA. After Mrs. Robinson's 20 year career in radio she returned to school for her degree in CIS graduating from GMC Augusta with honors. She now serves as a volunteer in the community and exploring the real estate world with Meybohm Commercial.

The members of the Board of Directors are elected every 24 months during the last week in November or the first week in December during a secret ballot of the General Membership. All members of ACHA have the right to form their own slate of candidates and given the opportunity to participate and to aspire to any position on the Board of Directors.
